![]() Several times during the year our parish sponsors the Armagh coffee house. Named after the county and city in Ireland where Saint Malachy served as archbishop eight centuries ago, the coffee house is the setting for performances by professional and highly skilled amateur folk artists. The coffee house opens for only the brief few hours of a Saturday evening. Our parish hall atmosphere is transformed on that night into an intimate club-like ambience with tables, stage lights and a professional sound system. Over coffee, soft drinks or wine, parishioners and musical devotees gather to spend the evening enjoying quality folk and popular music. ![]() In between the musical sets people have chance to mingle and meet the performers, other parishioners and friends in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Admission is usually $10 per person, which includes soft drinks, snacks and desserts donated by parishioners and others. We hope you will join us sometime for what has become one of the most enjoyable and community-building aspects of life in Saint Malachy parish. Check our Bulletin web page for dates of upcoming coffee houses and the performers. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
